Inlands reports

Inlands reports

I have uploaded the reports and results from Hunts and Whitefriars. The travellers Series is up to date with just Broxbourne and the Rum and Mice Pies to go. Paul still leads from Simon, Penny and Caroline, but with Clive, John and Robbie all still needing 3 races to qualify it could be all change at the end! Next event is Broxbourne SC on the 24th October. If you have not visited Broxbourne before is a great lake in the Lee Valley park, just off junction 25 of the M25 so very easy to get to. Hope to see you all there.

Hunts SC Open

This weekend on Saturday 3rd October the Lightning’s will make their first ever visit to Hunts Sailing club, St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. A lovely 50 acre lake with great club house so should be a good day sailing. Don’t let the fact we are sharing with the British Moths put you off, they are quite friendly really! (joke). 10 minutes off J26 of the A14 so easy to get to 3 races, starting at 11am, see events page for details, so hope to see you there!

NOTE: Hunts SC Open is on Saturday 3rd October where we are sharing with the British Moths. For those of you with the card that was sent out with the handbook, the date is incorrect and do not turn up on the 26th September or you will be very lonely!

Sea Champs 2015 results

With the Sea Champs now over the results are updated, the back drop is evening sailing at Snettisham beach. Stunning. Caroline still leads the way but is joined by Jason in second both having completed the minimum races and now looking to improve with discards. The chasing pack of Simon, Paul and Penny need one more event to qualify and don’t forget Robbie with his 6 wins our of 6 races. If Uncle Jason keeps bringing him to events who would bet against him in the new shiny Red machine?

Sea Champs – Snettisham

Sea Champs – Snettisham

So its time for the sea champs and this year we are at Snettisham SC as the opening weekend of Norfolk Week. Because of the tides racing is a bit strange. Two race late Saturday night and two race early (Yes early)...
