Next Event Manor Park

Hi Folks, Bit of a delay updating the website last week, we were away on holiday. Anyway, Broxbourne was great fun if another drifter of a day. Nine boats out on the water with the British Moths provided another enjoyable event in spite of the very light breeze. Next up is the now traditional visit up north to Manor Park, well it’s kind of north anyway, if Wolverhampton counts as north! Broxbourne

Broxbourne this coming weekend folks, all the details are on the Events Info page, weather is looking great, lake is a super place to sail, I can personally recommend the bacon butties, what better sailing could you wish for. Oxford Results and Series Table

Hi folks, Well event two behind us and the Oxford Results and Series Table 2014 are now published and up on the site as usual. Next we are off to Broxbourne on the 17th May. Another super little lake, in the Lee Valley Park. Very easy to get too, about 10 mins off the M25, junction 25.

Oxford Open

Super day at Oxford this weekend, light winds, but sunshine and 21 boats out on the water, a really great turnout, with visitors from every direction. The morning race was in a light but fair breeze and everyone made good progress around the course. After lunch the wind dropped, but we all just about made it around the second race. However, but the end of that one the wind dropped to flat calm, so race three was abandoned in favor of an early tea. The Notice of Racing (NORs) for Oxford are now published on the Events Info Page. Looking like another great weekends sailing, super stretch of water, very nice club and the bacon rolls are worth the trip alone. First race start at 11.00, so plenty of time to get there are rig. Hope to see you there. Without tempting fate too much, the weather is not looking to bad either. Farmoor is a super stretch of water, great club, lots of room, easy parking, fantastic bacon rolls, and you get to go sailing too.
