After several years at Cookham Reach SC the Southern Area Champs is moving to our Builder John Claridge’s home club of Royal Lymington YC. The Lightning’s will be sailing as part of the Lymington Town Regatta, who have given us our own start and promises some memorable sailing on the Solent. Entry can be made on line for a £5 discount and John Claridge has kindly opened is House/Garden/Shed/Drive for those wishing to crash on Saturday night. So Manor Park and Up River have come and gone. Everybody who came is well trained now and has had opportunity to put into practice. The results are up on the results page and the first draft of the Travellers Series is out. Looks like the Silver fleet is going to be a tight battle once again. Next Stop is the Sea Champs at a new venue of Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, on the Thames Estuary in Southend-on-Sea. If you have not been there before it is a beautiful venue with a club house to die for. We will be part of their May regatta so expect 100+...
