Hunts SC Open

This weekend on Saturday 3rd October the Lightning’s will make their first ever visit to Hunts Sailing club, St. Ives, Cambridgeshire. A lovely 50 acre lake with great club house so should be a good day sailing. Don’t let the fact we are sharing with the British Moths put you off, they are quite friendly really! (joke). 10 minutes off J26 of the A14 so easy to get to 3 races, starting at 11am, see events page for details, so hope to see you there!

Just call to reserve a place. They also maintain a list of B&Bs on their website. Our usual on-site social venue Bratley Towers (Lee and Emma’s huge tent) will be the place to be seen, Downton has nothing on this, but do dress for dinner 🙂 The AGM will be held on the Saturday evening after racing, always a great chance to talk LNs and influence where we go next as a class, it is all quite fun...

The chasing pack of Simon, Paul and Penny need one more event to qualify and don’t forget Robbie with his 6 wins our of 6 races. If Uncle Jason keeps bringing him to events who would bet against him in the new shiny Red machine?
