Dinner Time

Hi All,

Things are progressing well for our last event of the year at WOSC on the 10th November. We’re looking at a very good turnout, all the details are posted up on the event pages so if you are sailing the club opens around 09.00 and sailing usually gets under way around 10.30 so we get a reasonably early finish. WOSC is a great club for spectacting, with a nice big and warm club-house overlooking the sailing lake, the courses inevitably take the racing right in front of the club-house too.

The sailing is followed by a trip down the pub for a spot of dinner and a social gathering. We already have quite a crowd going, so if you want to come please let Caroline know so the pub can have an idea of numbers. Caroline needs to tell the pub by next Tuesday. The pub has a very big car park so easy parking for boats too, or they can be left at the club overnight.

Plans for the new season’s events are well under way with six or so already firm in the diary. I think weather and other things permitting we might get a few along to the Bloody Mary at Queens in January, which is a just a ‘fun’ event, depending on your view of snow and ice!!!

Hope to see everyone at WOSC, whether sailing or just popping along for a chat.
