All Quiet on the LN Front

Hi folks,

This is a rather quiet time for us, everyone waiting to start the new season and no doubt there is a great deal of boat prep underway, all aimed at that extra little bit of pace up wind.

My attempt at this ‘extra’ pace is a new sail and the first of the radial cut Dacrons, I’ll report back how it goes. This new sail will be on display at the dinghy show, together with the new Mylar fabric.

Talking of the Dinghy Show, prep is well underway for our stand, we hope to make another good impression this year, with a stand full of new and useful info, images and tips. We have lots of LN experts on hand if you want to talk about your new idea for that little bit of extra pace, LNs and sailing them.

Then you can try it all out at the Class training day on the 6th April at Manor Park, our first event of the new season.

We’ve also seen a good deal of interest and progress with the baot register and clubs directory overt the winter, we’ve added boat finds well into double figures, with boats idenfified at new clubs as well. This is all very good news and helps show the very active and widespread support the LN has around the country.

Hope to see you all at the Dinghy Show.
