Weston and More

Another mad windy weekend at Weston. Sailing on Saturday looks to have been a challenge, racing abandoned on Sunday, with Hurricane Bertha, making an appearance in Southampton Water.

Another great result for Robbie, Simon senior doing a great job to come in second and open newcommer Clive from WOSC popping up in the 3rd slot in his first LN open event woW!!!

Clive is sailing his newly aquired LN29, which once again shows older, but well maintained LN’s go very well, if properly sailed, well done to Clive for a super showing in his first event.

Talking of boats another couple of examples have appeared on the web site this week, see the For Sale page for details. There is always a good range and price points for second hand LN’s on the for sale page, so always worth a look.

The Nats next, which is just another really good LN weekend. Northampton is a super stretch of water, really easy to get too, easy camping on site, plenty of room, on and off the water, which is all the reasons we keep going back.

This is always a great LN weekend, very relaxed, Bratley and Dodds Towers, the biggest tent in the world is also the social venue of the year and the sailing ain’t bad either.

All the details on the events page here: Events Info

This is also our AGM venue, so pop along on Saturday evening even if you’re not sailing for LN chat and banter, there’s usually a glass of wine or two going as well!!!
